All three hymns in this medley have a common theme of consecration. “Take my life and let it be consecrated, Lord, to Thee.” “Jesus, Savior, pilot me” is a pledge to dedicate oneself to God’s purpose and way of living. And “Draw Me Nearer” has a verse that says “Consecrate me now to Thy service, Lord”.
